Pitcher of the Month Named in SL2 Thursday, May 1st, 2059 In April, when the name of Bob Thomas appeared on the Capron lineup card it was a virtual lock on a victory. He started 6 times and chalked up 5 wins and no losses. With those stats it was a also a virtual lock that he would be named the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month. Thomas shackled opposing batters on 35 base hits and a .248 batting average. He rang up 34 strikeouts in 36.2 innings of work, surrendered 13 walks and fashioned a sparkling 1.96 ERA. |
