Chambers Goes on Rampage Against Mud Sharks Saturday, April 12th, 2059 Toledo left fielder Dave Chambers really lit up the San Bernardino Mud Sharks with a 6-hit barrage today at Ballpark of San Bernardino -- a performance that sparked the Ospreys to a 23-7 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Dave Chambers singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th. Thus far this year Chambers has hit .545 with 1 home run and 21 RBIs. |
