Sabrecats Pitching Ravaged by Castro Wednesday, April 14th, 2060 "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Ada first baseman Paco Castro said to BNN reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Edwardsville Sabrecats at Alleycats Ballpark. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Alleycats had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 11-7. Paco Castro hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Castro is batting .377 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
