Super Swinger -- Walton Slams 5 Hits Saturday, April 12th, 2059 History in the making. That's what the fans at Pistols Ballpark got to see today, when Des Arc outplayed the Pistols 16-5. Jermaine Walton of the Scoundrels came to the plate 6 times and came away with a dynamite day as he exploded for 5 hits against Minneapolis. In the postgame press conference the Minneapolis skipper quipped to reporters, "Hey, we tried to get him out. We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the kitchen sink." Jermaine Walton hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Presently Walton is hitting .389 with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 12 games and scored 12 times. |
