Fabián Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, May 29th, 2066 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. José Fabián of the MacKenzie Road Warriors had one of those moments when he went 6 for 6 at the plate today in the 12-3 win over the Minneapolis Pistols at Pistols Ballpark. The 22-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." José Fabián singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This season Fabián is batting .343 with 31 RBIs, 25 runs scored and 1 home run. |
