Skipper Nakashima Shown the Door in Pittsburgh
Sunday, June 28th, 2065
The winds of change have hit Pittsburgh. Many saw the writing on the wall but it still came as sort of a surprise to the sports world when Yoson Nakashima was fired earlier today. The team cited intellectual differences as a contributing factor to the decision but refused to go into details. All that is clear right now is that the hunt is on for a new manager. "Yoson just wasn't the right guy for our team and our situation right now," said a team official speaking on condition of anonymity.
The Breakouts spokesman indicated that Nakashima had not been meeting goals set out for him by the team owner. Nakashima spoke with the press and said, "What's done is done. I'm just looking at my situation going forward, not backward. There's nothing I can change about the situation in Pittsburgh. I just have to focus on what's to come next in my baseball future."
