Piper's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Thursday, July 29th, 2066 It has been quite a while since somebody stopped Drake Piper without a hit in a game. The Wart Hogs couldn't do it in today's game at Orlando Grounds. The Orlando Bees center fielder banged out 1 hit and extended his hitting streak to 20 consecutive games in his club's 5-2 victory. Drake Piper singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and walked in the 7th.
