Cantú's 20-Game Hit Streak Ends Tuesday, June 15th, 2066 The B-Mets lost to Ingalls today by the score of 8-0 at Wasps Ballpark, but the bigger story was the end of a hit streak. Binghamton right fielder Gustavo Cantú was working on a 20-game hitting streak, but went 0-for-3 against the Gunboats as the hot stretch came to an end. This year Cantú has hit at a .275 pace and produced 42 RBIs, 7 home runs and scored 47 runs. |
