Corsairs Pitching Ravaged by Godbout Tuesday, June 15th, 2066 Hialeah center fielder Mattys Godbout really lit up the Henderson Corsairs with a 5-hit barrage today at Corsairs Ballpark -- a performance that sparked the Gannets to a 18-10 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Mattys Godbout singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Godbout is hitting .286 so far this season with 24 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 83 hits including 1 home run, 25 walks and .344 OBP. |
