Injury Takes Toll, Ronald McLean Out Tuesday, July 27th, 2066 Watching Ronald McLean getting helped off the field today at Ballpark of Lexington, fans of the Tacoma Sails feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the left fielder will miss 5 months with a torn rotator cuff. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. McLean suffered the injury throwing the ball in the game against the Diamonds. This year McLean has collected a .318 batting average to date with 100 hits in 314 at-bats, 50 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 44 times. He has played in 86 games. |
