SL1 Player of the Week Goes to Kevern of Jersey City Monday, July 26th, 2066 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Sub League 1, but last week Dennis Kevern of the Jersey City Push reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Kevern rocked opposing pitching for a .550 average (11-20), 1 home run and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season in 67 games Kevern is batting .368 with 11 home runs, 44 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 85 hits in 231 at-bats. |
