Garza Goes 5-5 Against Colorado Springs Wednesday, July 14th, 2066 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Fernando Garza -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at Hurlers Ballpark and paced the Hurlers to a 9-4 win over the Colorado Springs Betas. After his dynamite batting performance the Rochester second baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book.
