Ramiro Martínez Drills 3 HR in One Game Saturday, June 12th, 2066 Some days you can't have it all. Ramiro Martínez discovered that when he cracked three homers at Ballpark of Ammon during today's game against the Cut Bank Ants and lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The Ammon right fielder went on to describe his big day in his postgame interview. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them." He got his name in the league record book, but the Ants walked away with a 7-6 triumph. Martínez finished the day with 3 hits in 3 at-bats and 6 RBIs. Ramiro Martínez hit a two-run home run off Ron Jaramillo in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Ron Jaramillo in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Cam Kaiser in the 7th and walked in the 9th. This year Martínez has hit at a .322 clip with 56 RBIs, 16 home runs and 39 runs scored. |
