Barker Named Top SL1 Hurler Tuesday, June 1st, 2066 Danny Barker hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Sub League 1 Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In May the Akron starter earned a 5-1 mark in 7 starts. He threw 51.1 innings, struck out 38 and compiled a solid 2.63 ERA. This year Barker has fanned 72 in 87.1 innings and collected a 7-3 record with a 3.30 ERA. |
