SL1's Best Player Named Monday, June 29th, 2065 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Sub League 1 Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Gene Jones for his great week at the plate. The Fort Wayne second baseman took home the trophy by banging out 15 hits in 27 at-bats for a .556 batting average, driving in 13 runs and scoring 6 times. Jones is currently hitting at a .295 pace with 9 home runs, 43 RBIs and has scored 32 times. |
