Clark on Top of His Game

Randolph Clark of the Chicago (A) White Sox put the clamps on the opposition and held the Pittsburgh Pirates scoreless in a 5-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Pittsburgh skipper after the 7-0 loss.
Clark was on target most of the game and finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks.
On the season Clark has compiled a 19-7 mark with a 3.90 ERA in 32 starts. In pitching 210 innings he has 217 strikeouts and 71 walks while limiting the opposition to a .234 batting average.
