Wiley and Denton Suspended, Out 4 Games Sunday, September 19th, 2066 Washington's Tim Wiley and Arizona's Milton Denton have been handed 4-game suspensions for their parts in yesterday's upheaval at Nationals Park. The teams were notified today that the suspensions would go into effect immediately. According to the league commissioner Wiley and Denton provoked and incited the brawl and bore the blame for what transpired. So far this season Wiley has 26 home runs and a .298 batting average. This season Denton has made 54 relief appearances and has 1 save. His record is 3-2 with 67 strikeouts in 59.1 innings with a 6.07 ERA. |
