Moreno Belts Bunch of Base Hits Wednesday, September 15th, 2066 It was a parade of hits for Alfonso Moreno of the Anaheim Los Angeles Angels... one right after another... a total of 6 for the day. He ravaged the Seattle Mariners for 6 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Los Angeles Angels to a 14-2 victory. "Moreno was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Mariners manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Alfonso Moreno doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
