5-Hit Game for Long Saturday, September 11th, 2066 At Rogers Centre Christopher Long was the King of Swing today in the 19-0 win over the Rays. The Toronto center fielder stepped into the batter's box 6 times against the Tampa Bay and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 6! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Christopher Long singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bradley Cochran in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Caden Dixon in the 8th. This season Long has 27 home runs and a .273 batting average. |
