Dodgers Chill Lange's Hot Streak Thursday, September 2nd, 2066 Kurt Lange of the Colorado Rockies came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 35-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Colorado dropped the game to the Los Angeles Dodgers 10-2. In a postgame comment Lange told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." This year Lange has socked 197 hits in 568 at-bats for a .347 average with 32 home runs. He is getting on base at a .432 pace and his totals also include 90 RBIs and 139 runs scored. |
