Vázquez Best NL Starter Wednesday, September 1st, 2066 Jorge Vázquez hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning National Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the New York (N) starter earned a 4-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 36.2 innings, struck out 33 and compiled a solid 1.96 ERA. To date this year Vázquez has compiled a 15-4 mark with a 3.32 ERA in 26 starts. |
