Lange Hits in 25 Consecutive Games Friday, August 20th, 2066 Long hitting streaks don't happen very often and when they happen it perks up everybody's interest. No one knows how long it will go -- it could end tomorrow -- but baseball fans and Kurt Lange are enjoying the moment right now. The 33-year-old Colorado left fielder extended his string to 25 consecutive games in Turner Field today. Lange got 1 hit, but the Atlanta Braves got the victory. They toppled the Rockies 8-4. Kurt Lange flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th. Currently Lange has 28 home runs and a .348 batting average. |
