Tigers Chill Murphy's Hot Streak Tuesday, August 3rd, 2066 George Murphy's sizzling streak was snapped at 24 today as the Cleveland Indians dropped a game to the Detroit Tigers 2-0 at Jacobs Field. Murphy failed to get a hit and went 0-for-4. After the game Murphy spoke with BNN and said, "This was quite a streak. I just ran into some good pitching today." Batting .348 to date, Murphy has no home runs and 48 RBIs. |
